"Hey you! Wait!" Taoki yelled as he chased after his bounty that was running away from the anthro. He jumped over the debris his bounty was giving him so he could escape, but that didn't stop him that easily! Besides, since Taoki was a former acrobatic, he could jump over many things, or at least, that's what he thought.
His bounty surprisingly then stopped and smirked at Taoki evilly as he suddenly then dashed toward a small alleyway in where he threw some more debris at him so he couldn’t follow him. This time, Taoki accidentally tripped and landed with a loud 'thud' since he never expected his bounty to act that way and find a shortcut. Taoki growled angrily in frustration and picked himself up as he dusted his clothes with his hands then chased his bounty to the alleyway he went.
"Oh no you...!" Taoki said but stopped abruptly as he reached to his destination in shock to see nothing except a wall in front of him. "Don't?" The anthro ended as he tried to find a way on how his bounty suddenly disappeared into thin air. Taoki started to grumble in annoyance not only that he lost his bounty, but also because he was the only lead on his search to where he could find the mercenary that he was searching for for a very long time.

Kaliai pushed his gray hair from his face and looked around, confused. He stared up at the large buildings and couldn't help but feel extremely tiny. He bit his lip and quickened his pace. He checked the map someone had drawn for him and this place didn't seem to be where he was supposed to be going. Where he was going.... he had forgotten, but he knew if he got there, he would now that's where he should be. And the only problem then would be to figure out why he was there.
The little mouse anthro heard some noises and trembled violently, hoping that no one was around and he could find his own way. He just wanted to get out of that big place as soon as possible. He turned down an alley, distracted. He heard a sound behind him and looked back to see what it was, but he ended up running into someone and falling over.
Kaliai quickly got up and blushed a bright red. "I'm so sorry!" He squeaked. "I didn't mean to! I really didn't!" He gasped. "I just wasn't watching where I was going and I ran into you! It's my fault and I'm really, really sorry!" He apologized profusely.
